This shouldn't just be a "gay" thing. It's incredible for sex in general. Imagine all your anxiety instantly dissappearing and the overwhelming lust increasing tenfold with a physical desire to just be inside somone. That's what poppers is like.
Well, for about 30 seconds. Then you're back to normal and possibly with a mild headache. --- CE's Resident Scotsman. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z316/CeliaOfTheSky/Pinky0926.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

Amyl nitrate and related volatile solvents, usually supplied in a small brown glass bottle. Name derives from the fact that the liquid used to come in glass ampoules for medicinal use as a cyanide antidote that 'popped' when broken open. Nowadays often supplied as 'room odorisers' or 'aromas' in order to get around medicines legislation, and used almost exclusively as a recreational drug and sex aid by gay men. Not actually illegal to possess in most countries. Works by relaxing smooth muscle thereby dilating blood vessels, causing a rush of blood to the head and drop in blood pressure, resulting in an intense but short-lived high. Also relaxes the muscle of the anal sphincter, thus facilitating the entry of foreign objects, especially large penises.

Are you talking about those co2 things It's a little container with amyl nitrate in it, you sniff a little and it gives you a headrush. Raikuro posted... really loosens up the butthole It's not like it targets your butthole. It just stops you reflexively puckering up out of nervousness, and relaxes all your muscles. Generally makes the entire experience much more intense and visceral. --- CE's Resident Scotsman. http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z316/CeliaOfTheSky/Pinky0926.jpg ... Copied to Clipboard!

If I'm spending money on something like that, I'd buy some thienodiazepines tbh. They a legal analogue of benzos since benzos aren't a 1 or 2 level controlled substance.

it was just confirmed that poppers cause permanent damage to your eyes How high is the risk, though? And isn't that only with certain kinds? Isopropyl nitrite? As a general philosophical point, butter causes heart disease and alcohol is literally poison. You shouldn't take any other recreational drugs either because they all have marked health risks. What if you have to take a dump The key is in the order of things in which you do things. itachi15243 posted... If I'm spending money on something like that, I'd buy some thienodiazepines tbh. They a legal analogue of benzos since benzos aren't a 1 or 2 level controlled substance. Thing is, isn't that quite a pricey and more long lasting solution? I mean, a jar of poppers will set you back likek $3 and the effects last for less than a minute per inhale, so it's easier to manage. JlM posted... I've always been a bit curious about poppers. I wouldn't say it's going to hurt to try it. It's very mild. You could get the full effects and have it disappear in a few minutes, and then just never do it again if you don't like it. I find it hard to be overly worried about the health risks inherent in poppers when I do so many things on a daily basis which are objectively bad for my health.
