The Hellfire Club

The Jared Leto Joker is worse for me. It just offensively doesn't get it.

Anyways...

Rating: 63/100
Never cared too much one way or the other about the Hellfire Club since Marvel has too many villain organizations, but Hellfire Club at least has flavor.

Great style. I love his cover work especially. It's a very unique style that is trademark Rocafort. You know it's him every time. There are too many artists now who feel the same as everyone else.

The only downside to Quitely is his facework. Too homogenized in a lot of respects. Otherwise a phenomenally talented artist who has been buttressed by a fantastic body of work from Morrison and His Amazing Friends.

Pretty solid storyline; I'm including Fugitive with this since it's a package deal. These larger scale Bat-franchise events were always a great read in collected format. They felt inclusive and they tinkered with a lot of moving pieces in a big way. Always something I enjoyed seeing.

It's fine, but the way the role is written, it doesn't require much in terms of acting chops to pull it off. Well, no Marvel role really does; it's all pretty lightweight stuff. But it's a role where any actor with the look is probably set.
