2 Teachers from the Same School were arrested over separate classroom sex incidents involving the SAME 17 y/o girl in Orlando, Florida!!

27 y/o Chad Coy and 22 y/o Ryan Kirkpatrick were teachers there and apparently touched the teen girl's private parts at Ocoee High School.

The 17 y/o Girl did not know that both men knew each other when she was intimate with them and said "Ryan told me i was just a nice little escape from reality" and Chad told her he loved her and wished he could wake up wth her when he spoke to her at school..

She said she was SCARED of Chad and said "He's an older man who was much bigger than me. He would keep me after class where he would kiss me on the lips, touch me inappropriately and do other things"

She admitted she was attracted moreso to Ryan and would harmlessly flirt with him and ask him for help with her homework and he asked if he can do other things with her besides study

The teen girl admitted to being attracted to both men but wasn't serious with Chad and was more serious with Ryan...

Without reading the story, or seeing the pictures, the age difference to me at least is something that shouldn't be a police issue(at least with the 22 year old). Technically 17 is underage, but if the age difference between her and her lover is what 5 years, it shouldn't be as big of a deal as it is. Leave that more to the parents than the police. If her lover was any older than that then yes it should be a police matter.

No one would bat an eye if she had graduated, was 18 and dating a 26 year old, so why would a 22 year old dating a 17 year old be disgusting all of a sudden.

That being said, the whole Teacher/Student thing is what gets me. There needs to be a line drawn when you accept a teacher position, or even an intern position at a school, the first of which is to not have sex with your students, regardless of the age difference.

After reading up on the story, I don't like the idea of the 27 year old even going near her, and to be honest he looks more like 40 years old. As for the 22 year olds picture, any photo can make someone look like crap, especially an arrest photo.

Verdict, even though it wasn't love, the 22 year old should be let go, and not be known as a sex offender. The 27 year old should be put in as a sex offender, and given a minimum 5 years in prison, with 2 years house arrest following.

I agree with your post as far as how it's all so arbitrary as to be absurd... But the thing is a teacher has a responsibility to students and parents. Just like a cop shouldn't bang a chick he's arresting... It's not really about age.

a 5 year difference between a 17 year old and a 22 year old is nothing. I've seen many people in relationships around that age gap that both the female and the parents have no problem with. I'm not saying people should actively go out and look for 17 year olds at 22, but if something happened naturally then it shouldn't be a police issue.

Do I think its weird? yes, a bit creepy he can't find anyone his own age, but I'm not entirely against it.

But once you get past that point it gets more creepy, and more weird. Hence the cutoff of 5 years, with 17 being the bare minimum.
