But seriously that's pretty cool. Hopefully they don't make it bloated like the last couple games.

This would be worth it for me if it were Superstar Saga AND Partners in Time packaged together as I never bought/played the latter. But I know that wouldn't happen because Nintendo.

I thought Paper Jam was a solid entry that didn't fall victim to the mistakes other recent Mario RPGs made

I'm only a few hours into Paper Jam at the moment; it hadn't quite hooked me before I got distracted by something else. I had fun playing Dream Team, but it kinda suffered from feature overload imo (especially stuff like the giant battles that were kind of cool in concept but tedious in practice).

I always found even the first Mario & Luigi to be disappointingly simple and shallow after Mario RPG and the first two Paper Mario games, all which have a really dense world filled with sidequests. I've never really liked the series that much, the first one was decently fun and Bowser's Inside Story was pretty creative in parts but eh

As long as they don't convert it to the awful disgustingly ugly 3D style of the last two M&L games.

I never played Superstar Saga, so this could be cool. I started with Partners in Time (I liked it!), and just didn't go back for it.

Yeah, Mario & Luigi is probably my least favorite RPG iteration of the three

although Bowser's Inside Story might be my favorite RPG as a standalone so go figure
