I found some crumbs under the seat. :I My understanding was that they cleaned your whole car with a q-tip. Everything else is pretty nice... but those crumbs bother me. I'd think that for 130 dollars there should be 0 crumbs anywhere.

I don't know if I should throw a fit or not. An old guy was the one who did the detailing so I'd feel bad getting him in trouble... but the crumbs...

Normally I'd laugh but if you paid $130 then I'd be going back for a redo

$130 is pretty cheap tbh. If it was a full detail, it would take a whole day just to polish the exterior depending on how scratched up your paint is.

So no, I wouldn't expect it to be 100% for $130.

I'm conflicted... i want my money's worth but i dont like making a fuss. >_> might just let it go and never use that place again. Should have known better than to trust a detailing shop named "Squiggles"

Tell them about the crumbs but dont make a big deal about it. Be civil, not an a hole.

Im sure they'll want to know so they can do a better job of it for the next person.

Did you tip? Just curious.

This, a full detail here where it basically looks like a brand new car inside is closer to $200

its not making a fuss

worked in the automotive industry for a while. We had numerous people come back for touch ups for what my workers missed.

Yes you should have tipped. Most people who detail cars/wash cars are working for tips. The employer dosent have to pay minimum wage in these types of jobs. Same as waiters/waitresses.

If you werent satisfied with the service then you dont have to tip, thats why its called a gratuity.

Dont sweat it but maybe if you do get your vehicle detailed again check it before you leave the business. You payed good money to have your vehicle cleaned and it should have been. Dont feel "weird" about looking hte car over with the proverbial white glove before leaving or even paying.
