One thing that's cool.

They made her daughter a lesbian before it was popular to have LGBT characters. There's no room for anyone to try and argue that it's pandering.

Cool, hopefully they work it so the last season never existed and go from there. Not sure how they'll handle David though since I doubt the actor can do it.

In the past she's talked about a follow up and posed the idea the possibility that Dan faked his death. Another idea I've seen thrown around (although not expressed by Roseanne herself) is that they would be going through things and have cutaway type scenes imagining how Dan would handle the situation if he were alive.
