ugh I even told myself I'd never watch the movie but I accidentally watched the first 5 minutes and now I've been listening to that song all week

I haven't even seen the entire movie lol

I'll probably watch it with my students (7th graders) after testing, is this a good idea?

yeah, also Ryan Gosling sucks at singing. Idk how that song got all the hype.

ok I'm halfway through the movie and I'm so... bored :( I liked the tap dance they had and the song in the beginning when Emma Stone's friends take her to the party but that's it

I did like seeing Ryan describe jazz as conflict and compromise but ugh where are the showtunes

Just saw it tonight. I liked the use of color and the sets. That about covers anything good I have to say of it.
He was an idiot sap. I'll be damned if I would have tracked her down to give her that message. And she came off as an ungrateful b and a sap as well. But that's just me.
But yes. It's pretty boring and not much of anything really happens. It even seemed to forget it's suppose to be a musical for like a good hour and just goes on and on.

Movies are meant to be seen in theaters. La La Land was a great experience in theaters. It was even better the second time.
