I do wonder what Dems will step up in 2020?

Had Kander won his senate race, I'm sure he would've run. Hell, probably would've won too.

Al Franken? He'd be good. Witty, good record, smart, likable, midwestern.

Sanders will be too old.

Feingold? Nah, two back to back senate race losses isn't something to run on.

A lot of folks have been talking about Schiff, but he's only in the House. Can't run on that.

I agree that Kander would've been nice had he won or even if he lost but got a job in a Clinton administration. I think he'll be back, either in 2020 for Governor or 2022 for Senate... the guy so long as he sticks to politics he should be president one day.

Anybody who is or was associated with Clinton shouldn't run. those people are poison and I guarantee you that if any democrat in 2020 associated with them or Obama will lose to Trumpi

I mean neither of those guys are really associated with Clinton.

I don't even think she and Franken were in the senate at the same time.

And to my knowledge she never even campaigned for Kander


In a hypothetical parallel universe where Clinton and wasn't political poison, Kander would've probably been courted for a position like Veteran's Affairs or something like that and could've ran off that, is I think what prince_leo meant.
