Poll of the Day > Do you forget random stuff your SO tells you?

My SO will tell me about some upcoming event she's going to, or a day where she's having brunch with friends, or that we're going to be to x on Sunday at yPM.

The day comes and she's always surprised that I completely forgot about something. It took me over a year just to remember her friends names and who they were and where they lived. Maybe even two years. Some weekends I think are completely open for some awesome gaming, and she'll hit me with "don't forget this thing we're doing later", and then I'm like "wtf, I totally forgot about that".

This scenario often happens:
Tuesday at night:
SO: On Sunday I'm going to dinner with Martha at 5pm
Me: Okay, cool.

Sunday rolls around
Me: What do you want for dinner?
SO: What? I'm having dinner with Martha, I told you that a few days ago.
Me: Wait, who's Martha again?
SO: Ugh.

No, I remember everything. But sometimes she tells me things and I'm not paying attention so I don't remember them at all.

I forget stuff all the time. I write the important stuff in a note on my phone to remember. I can't appear COMPLETELY clueless, you know? :-p

I tend to forget minor things, but if we have solidified plans (like a friend's housewarming this weekend for example), I don't forget stuff like that.
