i don't think i've ever seen someone hate on a chihuahua

i've seen more pug hate than chihuahua, and def more pit bull hate than all dogs combined, except for maybe rottweiler

All the Chihuahuas I have are really sweet. Except for Rue, who alternates between super sweet, and super scared and barking because she's super scared.

Chihuahuas are fucking vicious man, most of the ones I've had try to fight every other animal except humans they encounter, even if it's 5x their size.

depends how the owner treats the pitbull, if raise them right they can be this way (which is the preferred type).

Hard to say, in my neighborhood just about everyone has at least one dog and there are an awful lot of Chihuahuas and Pits.

It's probably pits though, through no fault of their own due to the bad reputation and morons going on witch hunts for the victims instead of the cruel owners.

Chihuahuas and other small breeds get away with shit like biting and nipping because they're little and cute.

I've yet to meet a Chihuahua I legitimately like and I've been bitten by more Chihuahuas then I have bigger breed dogs.

I've met three pitbulls and they've all been great dogs (and I don't even like dogs much).

As far as I can tell, dog personalities tend to reflect their owners, so a nice person will have a nice pitbull.
I think the reason, therefore, that pit bulls get such a bad rap is that a-holes like to get them and then train them to be a-holes too. And since it's a big and powerful dog, bad stuff happens.

True. But this goes for every dog, not just pit bulls and Chihuahuas. But its not only abuse that makes an animal a pain to deal with. The owner can be loving and inexperienced or they just let them get away with tons of stuff.

We have two chihuahuas. The male is super sweet and just adores everyone he meets and whines for pettings. The female is more cautious towards anyone she doesn't know.

While I do not hate either, most small dogs are more yippy and I dislike that.
