Starting 7th grade.

Let's see... I was in my 4th year of orchestra, last year of All-City Boys Choir, I think we even got to sing the national anthem or My Country, 'Tis of Thee to open up for a Dallas Mavericks game. They were really shitty then.

Let's see.. probably had just beat Earthbound and Super Mario RPG. Had a year of piano at that point. Woulda just fallen in love with Outkast then. Also woulda been on the Academic Decatholon (or Pentatholon, don't remember which years those were tbh).

Oh yeah, went to the State finals for the MATHCounts competition with my school's team.

Dealing with 8th grade/middle school drama. Being 14 years old was the most vicious time of my school life....it is at this point where different dudes was getting their growth spurts at different periods of time compared to others, so you had guys that seemed like god damn giants compared to others dudes who still looked like slightly taller 6th graders or something. I was one of the type of dudes who didn't get their growth spurt until a bit later (for me, it was sort of in the middle of my freshman year of highschool....another highly stressful yet at the same time way more easy going then dealing with middle school point in my life, lol), so I admit that with me being like what, a skinny 90ish pounds 5 foot something dude with a crazy metabolism and a stereotypical nerd type of guy at that point (I was one of the kids that would proudly state I played a crapload of games, and was willing to talk about games all damn day if someone wanted to, lol), I stood no chance if something happened to go down/I was a easy target to certain kids.

For the most part, I remained on friendly terms with whoever decided to talk to me, and still chilled with the people I knew from 6th grade at my new middle school, but at the same time I kept my head down and just wanted to get middle school the fuck over with because dudes around my way was almost constantly getting into shit/wild'n out. Every now and then, there was this kid who would try to start something with me, most of the time it was on the bus. Had a kid that repeatedly flicked my ear one day, but I started sitting in my seat sideways/on top of my book bag, and kind of gave him and another kid that used to try to mess with me one of those "alright man, I am sick of your shit" type of looks. Luckily, it didn't last long...I don't know these dudes found some other skinny small kid to mess with, found out that I have two older brothers that is willing to kick someone's ass if they kept messing with me or what, but they eventually backed off and usually said "wassup" whenever they saw me on the bus, at school or whatever.

I went on my first actual date later on that year, so that was cool. My date and I went to go see mortal kombat: annihilation....that shit sucked, lol. The only memorable stuff from that date was me nervously holding her hand during the movie like a dork and getting a little kiss at the end of the date...with my older brother and his friend laughing at us cause' he is a dick like that, lmao.

Also, final fantasy 7 consumed my life when I got that and a playstation for christmas.

Had a temp job end in March, turned 21 at the end of June, had my first encounter with alcohol a few days later (my girlfriend at the time got a good laugh out of the faces I was making), and otherwise, was struggling with college.
