I've been eating at 3000cals every day for a week and a half and I've still lost a tiny bit of weight.

How does one gain weight???

Drinking soda like it's water and doing nothing physically active other than walking when absolutely necessary.

A family member of mine is like..easily 500+ lbs. Her diet is pretty much candy, soda, tea, and tons of meat. She consumes upwards of 8k calories a day, and has gone on a "diet" multiple times.

It doesn't work. She's so lazy, in fact, that she wouldn't walk to the msilbox in the apartment complex. She would drive her car. A quarter of a quarter mile walk is too much for her. It comes to a choice, and obese people, as far as I've seen, choose to remain that way.

Yeah..her boyfriend is also pretty big. But he supports her. With no job, food stamps, hatred for anyone against welfare, and hsving her buy him everything he "owns". I guess some people are just content with that lifestyle. I'd be thrilled if I weighed 180-200. Can't gain weight to save my life though.

No you haven't

yesterday:

3 slices salad pizza ('pizza' shape but no cheese/sauce, just veggie) - 350 cal
~100g granola - 440 cal (workout snack)
8 wings, 5 mozzarella sticks, some sauteed potatoes ~1400 cal
2 cups of yogurt w/ 30g of granola each - 500 cal (250 each)
small salad - 200 cal
1 beer - 110 cal

one of my lightest days of the past week and a half.

(and I've gone from 175.5 to 173.6 at the start to today)
