People are going to keep buying Wolverine merchandise and comics for years to come, why not capitalize and start showcasing new characters? Look at how amazing that worked for Guardians of the Galaxy; they were completely unknown (and mostly not even workable characters) until they were transformed into the movie team and now I see their merch and comics everywhere. <cite>Dash_Harber posted [p:877852265] in Is Wolveri... Hugh Jackman may have given up the role, but I doubt Hollywood would just drop a popular character like that, even though the last movie had a definitive conclusion. Despite strongly associated as being on a team, Wolverine is easily the main character of the X-Men so he's going to stick around in some form or other. In fact, it's sort of ridiculous to say he's an intricate part when the majority of the movies he is in are not even X-Men films. Really, they could let him rest in the film universe for a few years.
