Seems like a pretty polarizing movie. Some think its a beautiful masterpiece and respect its influence on countless films, books and games. They understand that its a slow-burning noir film, not an action film. Others think it should be a fast-paced action scifi film like Star Wars or The Matrix or something, and walk away disappointed. What's your take on the film?

I think it is a great movie, but the romance in it made me uncomfortable. It almost felt like Rachel was forced into a relationship she wasn't ready for. Rachel was still coming to terms with her memories being implanted and her existence as a replicant and she was confused about herself. Deckard practically forced himself on her without any regards for that.
I haven't read the book though, maybe it was handled better there. But it felt squicky to me. Everything else was great though. Really defined the cyberpunk genre. ... Copied to Clipboard!
