Zombies shouldn't even "live" that long. They're decomposing. The sun is constantly drying them up even further. What stops them from just becoming skeletons, and what actually even lets them move? There's no way their muscles will not have atrophied to the point of just becoming a mulch on the ground. Also, their only food is other humans. Who have guns. With more firepower than there are people in the entire world. Their main food is their main predator.

It's literally a doomed concept

I am pretty sure all the necrotizing bacteria that rots our bodies is repelled by the virus. I know that is the case with the WWZ ones.

What about the zombies that freeze? What gives them the kind of body heats to even survive a single winter?

If they can magically prevent decompositions (and still make them look like zombies for some reason) AND prevent freezing, I mean are they really zombies? They sound like magical beings, maybe ghouls

never thought of them being able to decompose completly if they do they do on a way slower rate
