Omg no.

I'm not going to put up with text spams in the middle of the night just so the phone can wake me up on time.
I have a bedside clock with 2 alarms for that.

You can turn off the volume and alarm apps can still work.

I use my phone though I also have an alarm clock set at a later time as a backup.

I use my DS for that too. Or did before I misplaced the charger cable. I really should look for that again....
