I have so many cool ideas I feel like I could patent, a lot of artistic talent, and just tons of things I could do, I just don't know where the fuck to start with anything, patenting an idea, selling it, starting a company, selling an idea. I have no idea where to begin

On top of everything I have a serious medical condition, which feels like it's traping me in this horrible place that's already crushed a few dreams.

I doubt anyone here cares, I just, I wish someone would tell me what to do.

You could hone your drawing talent by hosting CEs friday night draw requests, lewds are PM only and requests are only for the first 30 posters.

I have been working on my drawing lately, and I'll think about it. I just wish I knew how to make a career off of it.

Put an in application to a Comic office maybe archie since Marvel and DC are alot harder to get into. Do you have a twitter or some other thing where you have a bunch of your stuff, that you want the world to see? that seems to help. Even better if you have something like a web series comic that could gain interest.

I have an Instagram with it all but I hardly use it. I guess I should get back into social networking with it. Do you happen to know if you need an arts degree to get hired anywhere like that?

You don't but it helps. Especially if you don't know anybody in the industry already, much like all things, don' be afraid to use nepotism, it's a dirty practice but when you're trying to make a living you have to bend your morals a little bit. You should definitely keep your Instagram up and going, even better if you have a daily comic on there. Ever hear of 4koma's? They're usually a bunch of nothing but they're modern day newspaper comics so people read them during their morning commutes.

Sadly I the only person in my family with an art related job lives quite far away, and I very rarely ever talk to them. If I see them thou I'm definitely going to see ifI can get anything out of them.

The only issue with a web comic is that I'm not experienced with digital art, so at least at first it have to be ink and paper
