Does Samsung/Apple make 2-year dispossable products? Other manufactures?

Products so that they start failing in 1-2 years and you have to upgrade?

I know it kinda sounds stupid but most phones I see start acting up after about 2 years. Some might say it ia because people install more and more demanding software but many times people keep the same software and dont add other crap. Factory reseting/reinstalling OS does not do much either.

What do you guys think? What have been your experiences?

It's a fact, one of the only things wrong with the latest iPhone is that you need a unique wrench to open it

I didn't even notice. Looks like your keyboard's beginning to expire.

I don't know about phones in particular, but lots of stuff like this does happen, just based on how crafty people can be and the likelihood it would take for them to get caught. Which is a shame really

No, treat your crap better. The only real issue I'd say is how shitty it is to replace the battery when it starts to go but I think they've done quite a bit on improving battery life over the years. Usually after 2 years my phone needs to be charged after 2/3s of the day but now I think the only time my phone needs to be charged before I go to bed is when I'm running Pokémon go on it.

considering my galaxy s4 still works like it's brand fucking new

and then the fact that i have a kindle fire from last year that's already getting sluggish and shitty

i don't know what to think, but i highly doubt planned obsolescence is a thing they do.

All electronics are made to eventually fail, so that you have to buy new ones. Except Nintendo.

This has been a practice in many industries for a long, long time, so it wouldn't surprise me.
