Yes No View Results 37 y/o Mother and 20 y/o Son Freaks who fell "madly in love" after meeting each other again for the first time in 18 years plead guilty to incest but will NOT go to prison as each received 3 and a half years of probation instead and MUST stay away from each other...however the pair said they will DEFY that order and get right back in the sack in their trailer park kingdom!! The incestual duo said they will fight for their right to be in love by LOBBYING POLITICIANS and the Community (good luck) to make it legal.. Monica Mares and her son Caleb Peterson from New Mexico were arrested last year when a neighbor blew the whistle of their freaky deaky relationship. They accepted a plea deal that would give them probation, half of which is supervised and must stay away from each other for 1.5 years They were charged with incest, a 4th degree felony in New Mexico when an argument with a neighbor ensued and it was that neighbor who pulled the plug on them. Monica has 9 other children and said she would even LEAVE ALL 9 KIDS to be with her adult son.. They could have gotten 18 months in prison but the DA, Andrea Reeb lowered their sentence because of this "unusual" case and because they had no criminal record, it was relevant to their lenient case The pair has said NOTHING will stop them from being together after their controversial pairing was made public as they are willing to risk ANYTHING to be together Monica said "He is the love of my life and i don't want to lose him. My kids love him, my whole family does. Nothing can come between us, not the courts, jail, nothing. I have to be with him. When i get out of prison, i will move out of Clovis to a state that allows us to be together.. I will leave my 9 kids just to be with him" Incest is a crime in all 50 states but the specifics of the laws and punishment vary.
