Anyway, it's impossible for Iceman to ever show up in the Genesis game. The 90s cartoon shit all over him for some reason. Still never understood why those show creators hated Iceman.

Yes, you see teenage jean grey delved into icemans mind and reached into that deep deep deep closet so hard you'd call it the deadliest catch, which she then outed him as being gay I think and he just became gay after that...X-Men...it was once fun to read.

I hate that they made him gay. Of all characters, why my favorite X Man? Oh well. No offense to gay people, just as a hetero sexual male it's disturbing that they did that to him.

But no, at the time they hadn't shit all over his character yet. This was before his gayness. Originally, didn't he have a girlfriend named Judy Harmon? I get that Marvel wanted to have a gay character, but they should have just invented a new one for that or chosen someone less popular.

In the cartoon they didn't really crap on him, they just made him a rebel.... season 2 I think for those that have Hulu.

Well anyways, glad people liked the sprites. Only have about 9 or 10 more til I'm finished.

Damn it. I went looking for some videos proving that Iceman isn't gay, and found this instead...

That slide was epic.

They made Iceman gay in the most awful way possible. Even if you ignore that the character has shown attraction for women throughout the years in thought bubbles and never any for men, or that he has had a bunch of girlfriends, the idea the teen Jean just started rummaging through teen Bobby's head and then told him he was gay is really bad for multiple reasons.

That game was hard as hell. When I was a kid I couldn't get past the 4th level, the alternate future with sentinels and monsters, and that Ahab prick. I didn't know how to do a high jump with every character.

Lol yep Cyclops was the base because he had the most generic outfit. How do you do the high jump with all characters? I know it can be done, but not sure how. For that 4th level I always used the Iceman assist if I couldn't get up somewhere. At the end of the level, I switched to Nightcrawler and teleported through the wall. Still trying to beat levels 5 and 6. Yeah it was pretty hard.

You have to double-tap and hold the jump button to do a high jump. If you watch the demo you'll notice Wolverine does it to get out of a room, as a kid that always made me angry because I could never do it lol.
