It's not offensive to white women really. It's offensive to black women in that white women are more suitable relationship material because black women are often stereotyped as loud, mouthy, aggressive, rude, vulgar etc.

I would agree with that. But the white preference is still viewed negatively.

White fetishization is not really considered a bad thing for white people because modern beauty standards are white-centric. Culture and media portray whiteness and white qualities as a prime standard for beauty. So when someone exclusively likes white people, then they're just conforming to that standard.

Plenty of people ITT have explained why asian fetishization is considered problematic, though.

i agree that asian fetishization is problematic, but realistically there could be people who don't subscribe to that stereotype and just find asian women more attractive (but i guess it could also be the case that those people still have implicit biases). white fetishization doesn't have that negative connotation because white people are largely immune to character stereotyping.

also really the only people considering white fetishization a bad thing are people who feel like they are losing out as a result: it doesn't seem to be about the objectification of skin colour. no white person is going to think a black guy is weird if he only dates white women, for example. but i guess that goes back to the beauty standard issue.
