I ranked them like Bloodborne > Dark Souls 3 > Dark Souls 1 Amazing games seriously. I wished I played Dark Souls 1 when it first came out. Apparently Dark Souls II isn't very good though. But Demon's Souls is meant to be amazing --- "When it's cold, and when it's dark.... The cold can obsess you....." -Per "Dead" Ohlin ... Copied to Clipboard!

If you liked DS3 and BB more than DS1, you probably won't even appreciate either.
DeS is incredibly dated compared to the others and has the worst gameplay mechanic of the series (World Tendency). DS2 is my second favorite (behind DS1) because it has the most amount of content, the most build variety, and the most diverse PvP options. The enemy and item placement in the PS4/One version is worse than the PS3/360 one, but it's more populated. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Boletaria is still one of the best designed levels in the souls series.
You can't go wrong with either game but Dark Souls 2 is incredibly slow so you'll have to get used to that --- ... Copied to Clipboard!

Dark Souls II is a bad game. It doesn't deserve to be regarded alongside the others in the series.

I get the feeling most of the DS2 haters only played it near launch and never went back to it.
I was extremely disappointed with it too coming from DS1 and didn't even finish it until late 2015, but it grew on me. I did like DeS better at first until I realized how flawed the WT/CT system was. ... Copied to Clipboard!

Dark Souls 2 is better than Demons souls, and I would actually say by quite a bit

DS2 by far.
More bosses with similar levels of quality, DLC with much improved quality, an actual longer endgame after clearing the main areas (as opposed to a final boss that doesn't fight back)... The main reason I feel like people don't like DS2 is that it changed up dodge rolling mechanics to link iframes to a stat, but it's not enough to hate the game outright. --- Steam: http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198023511833 3DS FC: 5026-4428-6076 ... The opening of DS1 through Anor Londo (blind) is the most rewarding stretch in video game history. This tbh. It's the only period in the series where you can't just warp wherever you want. You also don't have to warp back to a damn hub every time you need to level up. ... Copied to Clipboard!

DeS gameplay mechanics are pretty rough. The level design of most areas and bosses are great though. Even bosses that are not fun to fight are at least creative.
DS2 has dramatically better gameplay mechanics, but a lot of the boss fights are either a giant knight of some kind or multiple enemies at once. I've never played the dlc, but I hear that the bosses on those sections are pretty good though. Anyway, I loved demons souls when it came out, but it's aged pretty poorly. I did not enjoy DS2 very much, but it's aged better...if that makes sense. I'd rather replay DeS for what it's worth. --- PSN: Jiek ... Copied to Clipboard!

I think Dark Souls 1 has the edge over Demon's Souls and for similar reasons, Dark Souls II is better than Demon's. It's a bit more balanced, the boss quality is more consistent, no stupid World Tendency and they still try to connect the word rather than having you warp to places.
