Current Events > Kinda stuck in FF IX (spoilers)

I made it through the Grotto and I'm on my way to Burmecia. I made it there but I'm running out of healing items. There're no towns nearby or places where I can buy stuff, Dagger isn't in the party so no white magic.

I'm being worn down by random encounters, if I don't find some place to heal or get potions, I might have to start over. And why the f*** don't tents revive dead people?

Honestly, I get attacked and lose HP more than I can steal potions which provide measly healing at this point.

You can probably go back through the Grotto and find a shop somewhere. There's one in Burmecia, but I think it's later.

You could probably do chocobo treasure hunting too if you haven't done that yet. I think you get a lot of options from that.

I can't find tracks anywhere and the more I search, the more I get worn down.

I might have to go all the way back to Lindblum.

one of her Dragon magics casts regen. but it's possible that only comes up later.

there's a shop in the lindblum gate and another one later in burmecia

Tracks are somewhere near or past the sandstorm iirc. Don't remember exactly though, or if you can even get to a garden from there. Lindblum probably isn't a bad idea if you don't have any items.

I just saw on youtube where the tracks are. I'm gonna get a chocobo and make it blue.

IIRC, you can go to the archway along the mountains near Burmecia and buy simple items (like potions) from the merchant on the other side, just like you could in the Evil Forest area. Otherwise, you'll have to buck up and go back to the Grotto merchant.

Update: Made it past the Beatrix battle and finished disc 1. I stopped at that point for now.

Except I looked at my discs in the case and there's a disc for FFV from Anthology instead of disc 4! I'm pissed! I'm gonna call the used game store guy and complain. Hopefully the guy listens when I tell him I want what I paid for.

Disc 4 is basically one dungeon, so at least you can get 95% of the way through the game on the first three.

Just say you're missing disc 4 and keep Anthology btw
