For those that don't know, Roman Polanski drugged and raped this girl when she was 13 then fled the country. He has been hiding mostly in France ever since.

Now I gotta say this lady is kind of pissing me off. She says "However, my opinion is that you do not throw a person's life and accomplishments away because they have committed a crime or done something you feel is heinous. His art, his employment, his achievements have nothing to do with me. They should be judged on their own merit, and we all make mistakes, should the rest of your life and contributions to society be ignored. I say no." This goes well beyond a mistake.

FFS she is asked about young girls getting involved with older men and says "I think it is probably unwise, but you have to take your own path."

And the worst part is she is being upvoted to high heaven and even given gold for this shit. No matter how bad Gamefaqs may seem at least realize only maybe one or two people would defend things like this on here.

I don't think the lady is actually a celebrity. I think she is mentally unstable to be saying the things she is saying. She also seems to think that he "served his time" when he spent like 2 months in a psych ward being evaluated and I think a few weeks in jail.

No, she thinks its ok what he did but other celebrities from when he was arrested to a few years ago from the last thing i remember reading are still defending polanski.

I am fine with forgiving people to be at peace and such but she is defending the guy. She has more of a hard on for the judge being "corrupt" than she does being raped by Polanski.

For those that don't know, the judge was planning on denying the plea bargain of 6 weeks in prison for Polanski. He wanted him to serve hard time for what he had done.
