My father is a big Civil War nut who's into all the battles that our ancestors were involved in. So the whole family got together and we went to Antietam to see where one of our kin got killed and then the next day we went up to Pennsylvania to Gettysburg.

I gotta say: every American should set some time aside to visit the Gettysburg battlefield. We spent the entire day there and I feel there was so much more that we didn't see. It's massive. And every bit teeming with history.

I'm fine, I can just look at the eyesore that's the white house of the confederates everyday I go to work
