you can play without any transactions

you won't have much inventory space though

the transactions are mainly to buy a new hero or a costume

then they got boosts to item dropping and exp but imo those are waste of $$$


inventory space is the part I guess I would call predatory, though it is manageable without paying just really annoying

cash shop was never that bad since regular play would get you your favorite heroes eventually and nobody asks you to hoard items etc.

the thing that sucks is that it was 100% dumbed down/simplified/streamlined and whatever buzz word one can come up with in order to accommodate the eventual porting job due to failing interest on PC.

fair trade though... xbone gets path of exile and ps4 gets MH.

How is marvels stash "predatory" it's more than poe gives. You can play 4 or 5 characters before stash becomes an issue.

Poe is the better game unless you really want marvel. D3 is better than either

you can play them but you won't be top geared or anything like that

that is because you got hero gear, artifacts, inignia, pets, crafting mess, core thing, runewords, and more

it takes a whole stash just to keep all your runewords

sure you can just throw them out and not care, but then you won't be able to afford the blessing thing

currency for top tier gear goes into it's own tab that's not stored in your inventory...so, wanna try again? 95% of the runes are disposable. There's maybe 8-10 you actually might want to hold on to. You only need one pet, you don't need any backup insignias. You at most would have one backup gear Most of the best artifacts are common across the classes and you can unbind if needed.

Blessing take odin marks which again, not stored in inventory

so again, specifically, what is 'predatory' about storage? PoE's is much worse and their shop gets rightfully praised and GGG is a much better dev than gaz. GGG for example being upfront about the console port and gaz denying it up until the trailer went out.

I hate their reliance on RNG boxes and they seem to use the let's price things really high then put it on a big sale every couple of months so people feel like they're getting a good deal. Mahvel certainly has it's issues. End game turns into a boring ass MMO and the recent changes took a lot out of the game that fans had been enjoying(movement powers/infinity system to w/e the fuck it is dumbed down to now).

It's not like PoE where they have 50 different currencies that trade at diminishing values so you can't store just a few and have absurdly low stack limits if you don't buy the specific stash pages for Currency and Essenses. It's not like KOTOR where they lock out basic things like skill bars or limit the frequency you can do content or the quality of gear you can equip.
