Maybe not every teacher but ones that can be trusted with that kind of power. They would of course need to go through monthly psych evaluations and spend time at firing ranges. Something needs to be done to keep our children safe from these mentally unstable nutjobs who think killing innocents is their purpose.

You want to trust guns in a building filled with emotionally unstable teenager who don't think more then 2 steps ahead? And obviously they wouldn't be meant for the kids but just imagine how long it'll be until one is, for whatever reason, dedicated enough to break into the gun locker and he starts blasting? A few months? A year?

It's a horrible idea unless you plan on having a SWAT team on campus and on call to handle shit.
