I'm really not sure if I'd like the series or not so I'm thinking I'll start with P4 Golden on my Vita since it's only $30. Is it also a great game IYO?

Should I just start with Persona 1 perhaps? I've heard those haven't aged well, but Idk.

I wanna get into the series but am not 100% sure if I'd like them.

Never played Golden, but OG P4 is one of the greatest games of all time

Persona 1 PSP is fine. Aged fine.

P2 didn't age well but it has by far the best story of the series. My favorite game, actually.



That being said, start with P3P and watch a playthrough of FES's bonus scenario.

If, after beating 3, 4 and 5 (and all of the 3/4 spinoffs) you find yourself a loyal Persona fan, try 1 and 2.

they kinda didn't age well, gameplay is sooooo old and stuff if you want to play the old smt games then play the remakes if there is one at least

I disagree.

PSP is closer to what the series becomes (and was) since it allows you to control party members.

That by itself is better than The Answer.

Persona 1 was archaic when it came out in NA. I remember playing it as a kid and hating it. I tried to go back as an adult and it's even worse.
