I'm seeing that people who post bullshit about white privilege are now self-cannibalizing their own. Even if you're not white, but are a minority with white skin, you're accused of benefiting from white privilege. And if you don't admit it, that's just "proof that you have the white privilege needed to deny you have it." No fucking joke.

There's an idiot Youtuber who recently made a video where he makes that argument. "If you deny you have white privilege, that just proves that you have white privilege."

I mean even at its simplest most basic level the wage gap is misleading because practically no one mentioning it ever bother to mention that men also work longer hours on average.

Yeah, it's dangerous though. I'm reminded of the increasingly popular videos talking about white privilege and how you're causing systematic racism to exist if you don't talk about your white privilege. The ones that ominously refer to "correcting the issue" without explaining what that means. Right now they just posture it as being a situation of white people needing to talk about it (or else), but I wouldn't be surprised if sooner or later they push some insane concept like a white tax.

It's also hypocritical. Why don't those who demand that some talk about their privilege never have to talk about theirs? Like for instance being an American or going to University.
