See, that's how I saw it too, though it would feel unprofessional to jump ship weeks after a promotion and put the store right back to where it is now.
Though personally, I think my reputation in this city has been shot to smithereens, thanks to more ghosts from my past popping up and making a mess of everything. So I'm kinda stuck. The door sequence briefly shows a table of robot parts, including a spare Crow head, so I guess they built copies. Why they would build copies of the robots that prevented their last experiments from succeeding is beyond me, but again, show. Plus the Mads were never known for their competency.
