The direction his life has taken over the last few months is the result of his pride. He's one of the most prideful knowitalls on this site - name a topic and he's an expert. He thinks he knows everything better than everyone, even if he's debating law with a trained police officer.

The internet makes it easy to argue about anything. Arguing on the internet isn't expensive. It's super cheap. You can fire off thoughts halfheartedly and half-assedly, all for the sake of adhering to bipartisan lines or just stroking your own ego.

That's a huge problem, and a huge risk. Pride comes before the fall. We should all learn from this, myself included. I definitely have a habit of thinking I know too much, and so do a ton of other active posters here. That's not good.

It's one thing to know something and be passionate about writing/talking about it, but it's another thing entirely to be an expert on every topic under the sun regardless of whether or not you're trained/educated in that topic. Just wanted to remind myself and everyone else that we should be humble with our knowledge, because the alternative is not a good one. Arrogance is corrosive and dangerous, and not attractive.

._.

I don't think so, he's willingly sharing his life with everyone here and showing us the consequences of his actions.

I don't know, but his topics get a lot of posts and seems to be entertaining

His folly and downfall is a boon to this site and he's doing his job in making CE great again!

There's nothing to be learned from Dawkins at all, unless someone needed the lesson in "exactly how not to be an intolerable wiseass and get arrested over literally nothing".
