Michael Jackson stole all of his dance moves from a white Broadway dance choreographer. While unethical, it doesn't mean their art is any worse quality. You wanna criticize Led Zep over something, talk about how big a fuck up Jimmy Page is. He'd show up to shows so drunk he couldn't even sit on a stool to play, and even now he won't let anyone cover their songs. It was explained to me the other way around and I never checked it out myself. While that example fell apart, the basic idea behind it is sound.
