There's no way he's going to live to see the end of this series. I expect him to die next week and pass on his sword to Jack, since it's also magical.

Another fantastic episode. Was expecting this to be a less interesting ep after all the hype of the recent ones, but it's just as good!

Preview has me so freaking excited for next week. Mother fucking Scotsman! And I'm sincerely hoping we get a decent amount of screen time of Aku just completely wrecking face and reminding us why he's the Shogun of Sorrow.

So how would you guys feel if the series ended this way?


4th to last episode we get a time jump that basically fast forwards us to the end of the Samurai Jack Comic where he has become a figurehead king of the rebellion against Aku. He already looks the part so it could probably be something small like a 2 year gap.

3rd to last episode is Jack finally defeating Aku in the future

2nd to last episode is Jack returning to the time portal with the blue guardian and defeating him as in the prophecy

Last episode is where Jack defeats Aku in the past therefore saving the past and future.

I wonder if Jack will actually go back to the past in the end. If there's only one timeline then that means erasing the future and all of the people he's met. If there are alternate timelines, then Aku wouldn't have a reason to care about Jack reaching a time portal.

Then again, I'm probably overthinking this.

I think he is going to defeat future Aku and past Aku.

I'm thinking like its DBZ where stopping him in the past won't automatically undo everything. He has to beat Aku twice.

I forsee two ways

1. Jack beats Aku in the future, goes to the past and wrecks Aku's face in the past a moment after he got flung into the future in an epic FUCK YOU moment. Maybe Ashi assists and somehow things are preserved


2. Jack manages to beat Aku but it just leads to him going to be sealed into something by the sword like last time (rather than straight up destroying him) which he laughs about, saying he'll be back eventually

So Jack chooses to seal Aku within himself by impaling himself with the sword. This way Aku is bonded to Jack who then dies meaning they both die

Jack and Aku then stand before the big three gods from the beginning who wreck Aku for good. Jack gets a boost and he then reunites with his people / other friends he made that had passed on in the future

Ashi takes on the mantle of The Samurai as well as the sword and helps rebuild the future
