Oh I can't wait. I'm already half way there. I'm 27 and when they hire new kids at work sometimes I hear phrases and shit I've never heard before and I'm all like "well back in my day we use to call it etc etc!!"

It means they're changing the sexual organs to match their gender, hence "confirming" it.

I agree.

I especially dislike the potential for changing terminology to retroactively make people look prejudiced or insensitive. But trying to hold on to dated terminology just has too much potential to end poorly. It's definitely one of those areas where it's best to choose one's battles.
