Can you not grasp the concept of subjectivity? Of course, someone who was born and raised in NYC is going to think other cities are small. And someone who grows up in BFE with a population of 50 is going to think a town of 1,000 is big.

Not hard to understand.

My town only has like 14000 people I think. Used to be way lower but they've built a lot of new houses

If you've been to the bigger cities you'll notice it immediately.

Delhi, Tokyo, and Shanghai will wake you up to the difference real quick, so will Mexico City and Sao Paulo.

That's tiny. It doesn't have anything to do with snobbery or whatever. That's objectively small.
