The women in his comics are all either prostitutes or whores... or dead. Or beaten and raped.

Makes you wonder if there's some deep seated issues there.

Really, Frank Miller hates a lot of things. And really, after TDR's edge we might have known this thirty years ago.

I'm sure there's articles or opinion pieces on him just like there are with Sim or Card or any of the other "controversial" writers that people seek info out about and then get mad at what opinions their favorite writers hold. There's truth to "never meet your heroes".

As a side, for me Miller only did two good things as a writer; Born Again and creating Marv.\

Edit: And that's not aimed at you TC, just an observation I've made over the years.

Fellow comic book writer Alan Moore has described Miller's work from Sin City-onward as homophobic and misogynistic, despite praising his early Batman and Daredevil material.

He lost his marbles and writing ability on the way, and thinks grit and violence makes him exempt from having to actually continue to write intelligently.

Many of my favorite comics are violent, but they have violence with a point.

He was anally raped as a young boy and then forced to watch as his favorite pet goat was slowly mutilated in front of him. Poor Frankie never did recover from the trauma.
