digimon cybe sleuth was meh... I really really liked the designs of the stronger digimon though and locking the best ones was actually what made me continue playing the game

The game is a disaster.

Its a good 30 hours, but after that you get down to the monotony. the last 3-4 missions the story picks up a lot. it really fills like an incomplete game.

No one is calling it game of the year unless they haven't played any other games.

It's a game with a terrible story and mediocre to outright bad gameplay. It deserves no higher than a 4/10, but reviewers will lose their job if they do that so they give it a safe 8/10.

Basically, if you breath of the wild an 8 or 9 out of 10, ffxv feels like a 5 or worse

Neither XIII nor XV are worth a purchase. They both fail to meet what I would consider the minimum standards for a fun game. Whichever one is better is irrelevant, they both fail at providing a worthy time investment.

Let me play through the game. if you're right then kudos but people are saying it pretty decent/great. half this board thinks FFXIII is trash but I loved the shit out of that game (this wss before I played FFX which is my favorite of the series)

FFXV has a lot of flaws, but I still enjoy it.
It could've been so much better though... :/

I paid only $27 CAD for it and I wouldn't say it was a terrible game but it definitely felt like it didn't quite come together. Like it was clearly made by many different people over a long period of time. But it still has its moments.

This game is amazing so far

some of the tones are so bad it's hilarious and gives the game a certain charm, Got the day one edition brand new for 35 so it was totally worth it :D

Game was amazing. Most immersive FF to date. You really feel like you're on an adventure with these guys with how they interact with each other. I like how Square keeps getting their fans involved with free DLC and contests.
