I'm say the character that looks the most absurdly overrated there is Lenneth.

I don't think the main of Valkyrie Profile has any short whatsoever against the main of, say, Xenogears, but she's projected to almost double Fei.

Can see how it happened. She got ridiculously good luck in drawing that night match against WCC and Claptrap. Even beyond that, though...Some others in her ninepack:

I could maybe sort of buy Claptrap being above the fodder-line in 2013 given Borderland 2's 2012 GOTY win (though doing well there seemed not to help the Xenoblade crew) but that's by way too much, Cuba's gonna Cube so I dunno, Rikku looks suspiciously high, and uh, wow Zero looks extremely suspicious. How'd you get Zero's value?

Feel free to take Cubes result (and his opponents results) with a grain of salt if you want to. It's a cube. Didn't pay much attention to him so I might adjust later.

Rikku has always been strong. She did better on Kirby than Vivi did last year, actually.

Zero got that number because he did extremely well in matches without Mega Man in them. Simple as that.

Yeah Vincent was horrible in 2013. He couldn't break 60% on KOS-MOS, a character who just broke 30% against Ganondorf in 2008 and is arguably weaker five years later. He wasn't going to beat Mewtwo and honestly he may not even defeat Phoenix Wright or at the very least he would have sweat the entire match.

Rikku is a character who's always stronger than people think. I think WCC, L-Block, or Missingno are characters that are hard pressed to get blown out for whatever the reason (inanimate object/joke factor/who knows), so they might look a little better in defeat than they should, so characters they beat might look a little better than they actually are.

And yeah, Vincent looked awful even before that weird result against Mewtwo and Phoenix. FFVII has been deteriorating for years, and he seems to have gotten the worst of it.
