That said, I don't really make a point of chastising people for beliefs they might hold, at least, so long as those beliefs are not being sent my direction via laws or aggressive personal confrontations. People do both a lot of good and bad in the names of their various religions and I understand why they exist and why people subscribe to them, but I don't think we'd be much worse or better off without them. Not that I actually hate practitioners, but it's something humanity has to outgrow eventually.
