For me, it's when someone that's not either my wife or best friend, ask me to hang out. I would prefer to say that I really just don't like hanging out with people ( other than the two mentioned above) and would rather be playing games or hiking.

There is no good way to say that to someone without them being offended though so I have to make up bs excuses. Then they are always waiting. Even if I cave in, they want to hang out again.

I'm just saying, these people are competing with some awesome video game stories and they lose every time. I already have the real people in my life that I want. Don't need anymore. ( wouldn't be opposed to hanging out with some users from here though, funny enough)



Yup, it's stupid and selfish.

I'm kinda the same way. I have my group of friends that I've had for years and I feel comfortable with that. Aside from my gf there's one person that I hang out with that I met in the last ten years

If you don't want to hang out with them ever, why not just tell them? Yeah they'll be offended but what do you care if you're not interested in continuing a friendship with them?

I have anxiety about asking people to hang out with me. Just trying to make new friends and I feel like hanging out outside of work would help solidify friendship.

Revolving doors. What's worse is that I don't have a reasonable fear of like getting caught in them [jacket or sleeve], but I am afraid it will get stuck and I'll suffocate to death. Which is oddly specific and really unlikely. I get really anxious when a revolving door is the only option.

I don't like calling people, though I've gotten better about this in recent years.
Many times I've stayed up all night because I don't want to do the dishes but won't go to bed before doing them. It's no problem any other time, just at night.
I can't sleep the night before traveling anywhere.
Not a huge deal in terms of anxiety but I can't just walk onto an escalator, I have to wait a second and "time it right". I also get really bad vertigo on certain really tall escalators like this:

You know how some people might hold an elevator by standing half-in half-out, or just sticking an arm out or whatever? I'm always scared that the elevator will drop and I'll get crushed in the doorway if I do that. I don't even like getting on slowly.
Fish freak me the f*** out. I can't deal with fish.
