Pre-show: Atlas d. Sharpe (56)

Steamboat and Duggan discuss the IC Title match. May the best man win! (75) Jones and THE MYSTERIOUS BOLO seem to gel quickly as a tag team somehow! They emerge victorious over the odd couple of Gilbert and Sika. (64) Baba, Tsuruta, Misawa, and Saito are backstage. There is a THRIVING TAG DIVISION in WWF, but none of these teams can unseat the champs! (47)

Afa Reigns still feels overlooked by Duggan and Steamboat, and takes it out on the Harts. (30) The tag division hype continues, with Edwards and Sheik making their tag debut against Future Perfect! The heel team fights well, but FP gets them on the ropes...but then Lawler and Meng run in after a ref bump! Sheik is able to sneak away with the win in the ensuing confusion. (56) Bruno rants incoherently about Williams and Flair. (49) Santana and DiBiase put on a great main event for us, with DiBiase winning off a low blow. (75)

Paul Jones is going one on one with THE MYSTERIOUS BOLO. It's not *obviously* Jimmy Snuka in a mask....but it's Jimmy Snuka in a mask. The "newcomer" puts away Jones with a splash! (68) Jones is impressed, and still getting over the loss of Snuka...so he suggests they team up! "Bolo" says nothing, but shakes his hand. (50)

Okay, this is amusing too.

Glad to give you an idea you will never get to. Maybe you can make your dad instead lol.

Sheik and Edwards call out Jones and attack him, but THE MYSTERIOUS BOLO makes the save! (45, Bolo's official face turn a complete success) Steamboat takes down Sharpe in another throwaway IC Title match. (60) Duggan and Afa fight backstage! (65)

Future Perfect defeat Saito and Misawa for reasons. (47) Pair of Kings think they should get a shot. So do the Samoans! (55) Santana and Muraco kinda get on each others' nerves, but they're gonna co-exist tonight! (72) ..They do, but Money and Power beat them anyway, in a quite good match. (81) Flair interrupts their celebration. He is tired of this thing with Williams and Bruno, so they're gonna have a match at TRIANGLE TRAUMA! (67) Speaking of triangles, our main event is Andre/KVE v. DVE/Funk v. Rich/Hansen! The faces get a huge win as Funk keeps going after All Japan! (88) But things are OUT OF CONTROL and devolve into a crazy brawl! (72)

Stevens is out to declare Jones and Bolo the new #2 contenders to the tag titles! They'll face Baba/Tsuruta and Edwards/Sheik this Sunday, but we'll also have a #1 contendership match with the Samoans, Future Perfect, and Pair of Kings! (50) That is jeopardized when All Japan defend against the Harts, but the heels manage to retain. (45) Edwards and Sheik runin on the champs, though! (31)

Steele and Garea beat Saito and Misawa. (49) Lawler and Gilbert are going to clean up against the fallen Future Perfect and the unrefined Wild Samoans! (42) Windham beats AKIO. (59) Albano talks up the Samoans, who are gonna plow through whoever they need to plow through to get the belts! WWF will regret giving them this foot in the door. (44) We give some love to the other midcard title, as Duggan and Steamboat team up against Bruno and Reigns! Reigns makes his point with a big win here! (73)

Sunday, Week 4, May 1984

Pre-show: Survivors d. Harts, Saito/Misawa (53)

Flair opens us off with a rant about his opponents, and how they've been overlooking him. (92) Williams and Bruno come out, and we've got a donnybrook on our hands! Flair is mostly able to play Williams and Bruno off each other, then manages to sneak in for a big win! (82) Baba and Tsuruta can't be dethroned as champions, and All Japan will never die! Funk is going to learn that later, but the tag challengers are going to learn that now! (51) Our tag title match is them against Bolo/Jones and Edwards/Sheik. Jones and Bolo show a "surprising" quickness to adapt to each other's styles! Bolo gets the big win with a splash off the top rope! (70)

Style and Substance aren't bitter at all about not being booked tonight, and make fun of everybody on the card. (48) IC Title time: Steamoat (c) v. Duggan v. Reigns. Steamboat kinda gets sandwiched between the two hosses, and Duggan is able to outmuscle Reigns, getting the big win after Afa falls prey to the taped fist! (76) Fink gets an interview with our new IC Champ, who is super excited to represent WWF and its fans. HOOOO! (58)

Santana calls out DiBiase. He has disrespected the NWA Title by trying to buy it! DiBiase comes out to tell Santana to go be jealous elsewhere. Muraco will be perfectly happy to lay down the smack on both their candy behinds!
(79) ...And so he does, putting away Santana with the Rac Bottom after a quality match. (84) AKIO tells Fink how great All Japan is. They may have lost the tag belts, but they'll get the WWF Title back tonight! (43)

Albano says his Samoans' time is now! Meng and Sika are going to roll through the pretenders tonight, and then they'll take the belts from Bolo and Jones before they can even get the nameplates changed! (57) ...However, it's Pair of Kings getting the win for #1 Contendership. (68)

King David jumps KVE on the entry ramp, getting a head start on their match! (72) KVE keeps going after Rich, but getting sidetracked by David. Rich is able to play this to his advantage and beat 'em both! (82) He heels it up, as once again WWF's best have come up short! (92)

Funk is hot, and ready to beat in both Andre and Hansen, and anybody else out to screw him over! (96) Your WWF Title match is a huge brawl! Andre, Funk, and Hansen slug it out all over ringside. Hansen and Funk team up to throw Andre out of the ring...and then Funk takes a LARIATOOOOO! 1.....2......3! Stan Hansen wins the WWF Title! (95)

Overall: 92 SUCCESS

Pre-show: Samoans d. Steele/Garea (59)

Funk starts off, still irate with All Japan and wanting revenge. Andre comes out to cut him off. They both lost, but at least Andre didn't take the pin! Funk needs to get to the back of the line. Hansen cuts them both off! He agrees that Andre is the one that deserves another shot, leaving Funk sputtering. (78) Santana rebounds from his NWA Title loss with a win over Sheik. (70) Duggan, Bolo, and Jones high-five backstage and celebrate their new titles. (62) On the other side, Lawler and Gilbert have reason to get serious again. Bolo and Jones ain't gonna have those belts long! (68)

King David and Bruno team up tonight, and manage to overcome the superior teamwork of Future Perfect. (75) King David isn't done, and grabs a mic. Clearly he and Kevin haven't settled anything! KVE comes out, and is very ready for a match. Perhaps they should go back to their Texas roots, and settle this with a bullrope match at Full Metal Mayhem! The cowbell is metal, after all! (67) In NWA Title action, Muraco goes over Martel in a solid match! (76)
Muraco gets on the mic, but is cut off by Money and Power! DiBiase has his briefcase of cash as always, but they aren't here to talk. They flank Muraco, and a brawl breaks out! DiBiase cracks his briefcase over Muraco's head, and the heels get the upper hand quickly, leaving Muraco laid out. (85)

Our main event is Rich and Steamboat putting on a clinic! Rich is so on fire that even Steamboat can't stop him. (89) Also Sprach Zarathustra hits, and out comes Flair. They've both had a lot of success lately, so maybe they should face off! (100)

WWF Wrestling Challenge

Pre-show: Baba and Tsuruta d. Survivors (55)

A clearly frustrated Funk puts away Bret to start the show. (73) He grabs a mic and goes off on a rant about All Japan, WWF, Hansen, Andre, and everybody he can! Santana enters, cutting him off. Funk is disgracing himself, and the entire WWF! (64) DiBiase puts on a decent match with Owen Hart, getting the win. (67) Afa lost last Sunday, but he's not done! This is his yard. (43)

Steamboat and Saito put on a surprisingly (to TEW) good match! Steamboat gets the win as Squashing Challenge rolls on. (70) Duggan comes out with his US flag. He talks about the honor of being your IC champ, and how cool the USA is, even though that's kinda Flair's thing currently. He's interrupted by- you guessed it!- The Iron Sheik! America, hokptooey. (60)

Our main event is an actual competitive match, with Bolo against Bruno. Jones cheers on his new tag champ partner, and that's where things go funky. Pair of Kings run out, and attack Jones at ringside! Bolo loses focus, and Bruno is able to take control and put him down while Jones gets beaten on the outside! (68) Pair of Kings take the tag belts and abscond with them! There's a brief chase scene, but it soon becomes apparent that the faces don't have a chance of catching up. (49)

Pre-show: Williams d. Atlas (81)

Bolo and Jones are backstage, still sans their belts. Jones says Pair of Kings didn't earn those titles, and they're going to pay for this. (61) KVE warms up for his brother by taking down Afa Reigns in a Bullrope match. (69) King David tells Fink that he's not impressed. KVE is good, but he's not a King! (55)

Funk takes out his frustrations on Owen Hart...although Owen does get in some offense when Funk gets sloppy. (73) Hansen had no right to deny Funk, but Santana had even less right to get involved in Funk's business! That boy is in for a world of hurt. (86) Duggan is here to promote the next match, but Sheik interrupts him again. USA still hok-ptooey. (72) Slightly annoyed, (Sheik didn't get within clobberin' range) Duggan refocuses on a big tag match. Flair/Duggan team up for AMERICA against Rich and AKIO. AKIO is clearly the weak link- he tries his best, but ultimately succumbs to the Figure Four. (77)

DiBiase calls out Muraco! DiBiase wants him one on one, because Muraco can't beat him! He wants the NWA Title! ...He gets it, upside the head, and a Rac Bottom for good measure! (100) A WWF Title Match on free TV! Andre challenges Hansen. A great match, but it is SPOILED at the end! Baba and Tsuruta run down after a ref bump, and the numbers game catches up with the Giant. Hansen gets the win with a LARIATOOO. (97) The rest of All Japan pile out of the locker room to press the advantage, but Flair runs out, cleaning house for the save! (79)

Overall: 92 SUCCESS

Santana and Saito open up with a fun little match- Santana goes over. (63) Funk shows up after the match, and blasts Santana in the back with a barbed wire bat! He gives him a few good whacks, and tosses the bat on him for good measure before leaving. (72) In less intense action, Windham prevails over Fuji (55) before he and Windham tell us that the present might not be going so great for them, but the future...is perfect. (44)

Style and Substance get a win over the Harts, but the boys are getting more competitive. (52)
Baba and Tsuruta confront Bolo and Jones backstage to mock them for losing the belts. But at least they didn't get BEAT for them like some chumps Jones could name! (65) Our main event sees Sheik put away Steele (66) but we're not done yet. Bolo and Jones call out Pair of Kings, who don't have the belts with them. That's because they're hidden, where Bolo and Jones will never find them! (54)
