Hmm, on closer reading, not EVERY game is factory sealed, but most are. And in any case, every game is complete (meaning it comes with box and all of its inserts)

I dunno, at that size and level of completion, I think you're approaching an area where pricing fails.
I guess what I'm saying is that that collection belongs in a museum.
But seriously, I will never understand the idea of collecting video games and keeping them sealed. I can't even afford to buy the games I want to play let alone keep them as trophies.
I sincerely doubt it. We're talking about thousands and thousands of games here, most sealed.
Eh, we're talkin a LOT of money here. The seller is asking for $1.2 million for his 22 completed collections, or $55,000 per collection. I'm not even sure if the most valuable collections included (assuming these to be the SNES and NES) are worth $55k, let alone all of those lesser collections.

It looks like these are Japanese-only sets. He claims complete collections of 19 games for both Virtual Boy and 32X, the only platforms with small enough libraries so that you can easily count them. Virtual Boy did indeed have 19 games in Japan, however the US had 3 games that didn't come to Japan. Even worse is the 32X; it actually only had 18 games in Japan so I'm not even sure where he's getting 19 from. Either he's including a random game from outside Japan as well or he just can't count. And the platform has 34 games total so Japan-only is leaving a LOT out, including the two most expensive games which are the only truly valuable ones.

.....that's quite the collection. i'm... yeah, i don't think you can properly PRICE that without going into a lot more detail than a glance. the value though, i can definitely understand.
and i agree that should go to a museum more than an individual person.

If I had that kinda money to waste, I'd probably donate it to a museum, or lacking one, I'd probably have enough money to make a museum to house the collection.
