Hats off to Andy Murray, but Federer wasn't going to lose today. This guy is a god damn machine. When Federer is on, picking his shots, he's quite possibly the greatest sportsman we've ever seen.

The Federer we saw at this Wimbeldon was reminiscent of the guy from the mid 2000s. How he pulled this out at 31 is just amazing.

Federer literally the best ever.

Nadal's challenge now for all intents and purposes buried, especially with Djokovic splitting the slams with him in the future. Nadal's sadly injury-prone existence will ensure he can't maintain a top-level career for that much longer so that's nice at least.

Sad for Murrray, but he'll win a slam eventually I would hope. There have to be noble casualties in the glorious march of Federer towards GOATdom and destroying the morally disgusting Nadal challenge.

Nadal's style just matches up with Federer well. Federer can't control the tempo and placement with how much power Nadal places on his forehand.

I truly feel bad for Andy Murray. I really do. His prime came along during the Nadal/Federer/Djokovic Years and those 3 guys are just better than him.

I have to say, Federer needs HUGE congratulations for getting back to World #1. When he lost it last time, I thought he would never be able to regain that. To maintain that desire after everything he's accomplished is insane. And you can't call this win a fluke, either (like 2009 arguably was, since Wellness Violation was injured). Nadal is his kryptonite, sure, but he beat world #1 Djokovic and Murray to win this one.

Federer beating Djokovic is a bigger feat than the Wimbeldon win. How he pulled that out I'll never know. I didn't think he would ever touch Djokovic in his 30s but this reminds me to never bet against R Fed.


Quick Question: Has there ever been such a legendary athlete with such an average wife? I've met Swiss women, they're hot and they love Federer. Why is his wife a 5?

Murray may have lost the match.

But he doesn't have to go home to brats, and he gets to bang a chick ten times hotter.

RFED the GOAT though. Greatest sportsman ever too imo. He's humble but can be funny and outspoken at the same time. He rarely gets frustrated on the court. It was hilarious today when that one linesman completely blew the call on Fed's serve and IMMEDIATELY apologized for it while Fed was like "Are you kidding?" If it was Roddick I bet the guy would have let the call stand since Roddick would have stamped his feet and cried about it.

And I didn't even realize Fed was so close to regaining number 1. I didn't think he'd ever get #1 back once Djokavic started kicking ass. So awesome that he'll probably reach 287 weeks finally.
