Machoke is the only half-decent one in that line. Machamp just looks dumb with all the arms, Machop is whatever.

Machop is alright but Exeggutor and Machoke are awful so I'm pleased with these elims.

The Gen 5 trash (Trubbish and Garbador) has already been taken out though!

And Exeggutor sucks. Machoke was a p bad elim. Already went over that. Who really cares about muscle baby prevo though? >_>

Regarding Gen V trash, this round only had Gothorita, Keldeo, Meloetta, and Simipour. They can gtfo, but nothing else is particularly offensive or anything.

What. Dwebble is f***ing adorable. One of the best Bugs. Boldore's cool, too. And while none of those others are particularly great or anything, they're not terrible either. That's not to say I'd care if we lost them, though.

Maybe the people trying to be "cute" by saving every Gen 1 pokémon should've been more strategic then. I for one am not going to keep pokémon I don't give a poop about around just because others are saving worse pokémon in "contention" with them. That would mean the lot of them (good and mediocre) would still be here. Basically that's playing right into their hands. To hell with that. :P

See, I'll give you things like Luvdisc needing to be out first. But this was still a bunch of Pokemon I don't care about basically at all, and I like that they're out because they're that much harder to eliminate due to nostalgia fans. Does that make me an anti-nostalgia fan? Personally, I don't think so. I'm looking at things I want eliminated and factoring in how hard it would be to eliminate them and saying "excellent round" when it happens anyway.

I think that's a really subjective question, in that we all have our guidelines. For my money, I go with a combination platter of looks, usefulness and typing.

I think Machop's the only remotely cool-looking Pokemon in its line, I can't stand Exeggutor's... everything, and Snover is OK, I guess. As for usefulness, Exeggutor can be alright, I suppose, with the Machop/Machoke duo being pretty limited and I don't have any experience with Snover. Typing? Fighting's alright, Grass is alright, and Grass/Ice is kind of cool.
