Obviousæy humanity is biologically a mammal, but not all classification systems are based on science, but on other associative proccesses. Based on association of apparent characteristica, would it be seemly to classify humanity as a virus?

under the actual definition of a virus, no.

for one thing, viruses are not considered alive, since they cannot reproduce on their own without another species' cellular machinery.

humans can.
