Don't both parties have a history of being terrible on this issue? Hell, maybe the Dems are even worse. Obama's administration has been more hostile to California's medical marijuana facilities than Bush's.

No. The federal government WILL go after the dispensaries and occasionally the growers (see: California) but the users are pretty much ignored.

Eh, I'm wary of "medical" marijuana anyway because it makes it seem like drugs should have to be useful for us to legalize them. How about having to prove the war on drugs is useful for us to continue it?
