Hmmm...I probably should grab the ReBirths before the shop goes down. Then, once the WiiU comes out the prices on Wii games should finally collapse and I can pick up the huge swath of games I missed because they've always been so expensive (I don't pay more than 20 bucks for games).

Wrong and wrong! This list seems pretty solid to me. It's missing Pandora's Tower though, which should go in the "should have" tier along with Last Story.

The first two didn't come out in America, but they did get a European release and the last one, despite maybe not being a great game, is still worth playing just for the experience (kinda like Nier).

that's missing quite a bit, though S&P should be in the must haves. i mean it's not BAD but it's forgetting a lot that the system has too.

Not a fan of how those games look visually, which really turns me off from them, but I did play the Origins 3DS demo and gameplay-wise it wasn't bad. I'm sure they're perfectly worthy of all the piles of praise Board 8 gives them, and I'll play them in earnest eventually, but I can't stress enough how... not-a-fan I am of their aesthetics, which actually matters to me a lot with platformers for some reason. >_>

Really? I think the game looks great, one of the best looking games this gen. I wouldn't base anything off of the 3DS demo, though. That is one terrible port.
Oh, well I've seen a friend play the game for the Wii at one point too, to be fair. I'm just not a fan of overly cartoony style. I would describe Rayman Origins as using that sort of style, wouldn't you? But then again, I really grew to love Wind Waker's style, but I think that's different somehow. Ah, listen to me, sounding like LMS. I need some coffee.
Anyway, what makes the 3DS port so bad?

The framerate is terrible, and the poor resolution of the 3DS kinda ruins it visually. The camera is pulled too far out, as well, for some reason. Just not a good representation of the game. It runs in 1080p and 60FPS on the 360 and PS3, which is the ideal place to play it. I think the Wii version was alright, though, but I never played it.

the 3DS version still isn't out yet in the US, for no real logical reason. i thought it would've been delayed to fix the problems, but unless the US version is going to be significantly different, it's not worth it on the 3DS, yeah. shame there, that.
PC version best.
