I think most of us can agree on that. People CAN change their ways though, if you live long enough it's inevitable. If you believe in the Christian belief, it tells us we should forgive. The ex-homophobe know they did wrong, and apologized. The least that can be done is forgive them. When someone who used to spread hate doesn't want to spread hate anymore, you aren't supposed to reject them. By hating them, you're no better than the person they were.

Hate is hate, and it's always bad. That's why particular crimes are so bad, they bring all of us down a little(I don't have to name the most infamous example).

So please MWE, don't say **** like that. Especially when the topic is about restoring faith in humanity, not kicking someone in the balls when they want to repent.

If you're serious, I can only hope something in your life changes so that you see the error of your ways.

My local library actually does something like #4. They have a big collection of books being sold for a dollar and they are at the front of the library with a money box that says "Pay a dollar if you can". Such a great thing.

Agreed. She could have even decided to ignore someone in need for the sake of an unimportant race she wasn't going to win anyway, or she could help someone in need. She choose the latter, and only no lives would have chosen the former.

What they don't tell you about 6 was that that was at the state track meet. It happened just a couple weeks ago. That girl had already won a title in the 1600 so she figured it wouldn't hurt to help someone finish the 3200.
