Oh my god, he is incredible. I've never seen anything like it before. 11-1, 2.00 ERA, 0.89 WHIP....and that includes a start in the rain in Atlanta early in the season where he went 4 1/3 and gave up 8 runs (his ERA would be 1.33 without that start). Back to back 1 hit shutouts. He's in a streak right now of 42 2/3 innings without an earned run allowed. He has 71 strikeouts and six walks in his last seven starts. Absolutely amazing.
Too bad his team got together like a band of idiots and combined to make him give up an unearned run last game
But still he's just gone insane

Never underestimate the power of stupidity in numbers. ~War13104 Never stoop to the level of idiots. They will drag you down and beat you with experience.
And besides his pitching, his personal story is just incredible. I have his memoir sitting on my desk, haven't started reading it yet, I can't wait much longer though.

From: Paratroopa1 | #015 it is a well known fact that all baseball players suck the moment they put on a mariners uniform and only get good after they leave, I know
still, R.A. Dickey what the f*** So Ichiro would be even more of a demigod?

probably, I can only assume that Ichiro is simply being held back, or maybe he only succumbed to the seattle curse last year and that's why he all of a sudden sucks balls
Bring those lazy popup "home runs" to Citi Field then we'll talk ^_~
the yankees hit home runs everywhere but the grand canyon for a reason. LOL citi field. it's fun to look at, and not to play in.
Either way that's a bad argument because even in popup home run land you guys can't hit your way out of a paperbag. Your entire lineup is so boring it's made up of no name after no name.
and to think espn was saying how the mets were better like 20 games ago. I guess writers had nothing that day LOL!!!!!
it's because you're in the joke NL east that we're spanking left and right. lol 4kids stadium, the center field/left center and right center are still fairly deep. our guys hit the home runs everywhere, not just to corners on pull.
as for high quality pitching, over the past insane 20 for 22 the yankees have gone (something like that) their 5 starters have been terrific and BP the best.
