First clue: When I started my job, we bonded over the Jets, then suddenly...like within a f***ing DAY after the Giants beat the Falcons, he came in wearing a Victor Cruz jersey and acted like the Giants were his team. F*** that, but they are both NY teams in different conferences, so maybe it makes sense.
Second clue: After football season was over and we were watching the draft at a bar, he starting clapping for the Cowboys.
"Are you trying to be ironic?"
"Nah man, the Cowboys were my TEAM growing up. Primetime and Emmit Smith are my favorite players ever."

Jets --> bandwagoning the Giants I get, but how can you say you are a Giants fan AND a Cowboys fan??
Third "clue": NHL playoffs. The dude is Hispanic so he knows nothing about hockey. But like every other douche in NY this year, he started pretending like he is a diehard Rangers fan. Facebook posts ("LETS GET 'EM BOYS! RANGERS NATION 2012 LOL"), pretending to know what he is talking about, watching the games at bars while wearing a Lundquist jersey, etc.
Get this: AS SOON AS THEY ARE ELIMINATED (by the Devils), he tells me that he "always liked the Devils more" because he grew up in Jersey. In reality, it's because the Devils were winning titles when he was in that dirty state, and I quickly concluded that he only is a fan of whatever teams are winning championships that year. (Think: Cowboys fans in the early 90s, Devils/Giants fans now).
Now I know how Swift feels. I really like the guy, but I am tempted to physically fight him for being such a god damn bandwagoning son of a b****.
